Aloha from the Hamburg IT Strategy Days – Evernine supports Future of Work
From February 13-14, we supported our customer Box and its partners Slack, Okta and Zoom at the Hamburg IT Strategy Days 2020 with the goal of drawing visitors‘ attention to the joint Future of Work stand and making sure they remember us positively through a creative campaign. In this article you can find out exactly what we did and what our concept was.
The Hamburg IT Strategy Days took place for the 18th time at the Grand Elyseé Hotel. The congress, designed especially for CIO’s and IT decision makers, revolved around new and innovative technologies for business models that were previously unthinkable. With the initiative Future of Work our customer Box was represented together with the partners Slack, Okta and Zoom. With their best-of–breed technologies for the modern workplace, these partners offer the optimal solution for location-independent and digitally networked collaboration. The keyword is “New Work”.
The challenge: Aside from the action
With a stand on the first floor, the four companies were positioned somewhat away from the main event. In order to get as many visitors as possible to the stand during the two days of the fair, we needed a creative idea. For Valentine’s Day, we put our heads together to present a coherent and effective concept which, according to the goal, should boost the traffic at our stand.
“Spread the Love” from the IT Strategy Days in Hamburg
Following the motto “Spread the Love”, we organised a promotion campaign which made it possible for fair visitors to send a nice Valentine’s greeting with personal pictures and a bouquet of flowers directly from the fair to their loved ones at home. Evernine took care of everything from the conception to the organization of all necessary components and the execution. So Box and their partners could fully concentrate on their sales activities during the event.
With IT decision-makers and CIOs as a target group, who could not be at home on Valentine’s Day, they had the opportunity to send a greeting and a nice gesture to their loved ones despite being at work. All this in connection with Box’s product. In order to also show the advantage and unique selling proposition of Box, we connected the campaign with the company not only through the branding and the stand. Visitors received the pictures they made in the photo box and the voucher for a flowery Valentine’s Day greeting via a Box link: All in one place. This enabled Box to present its solution in cloud management and as a sharing platform to the relevant target group in an ideal way.
The campaign was a huge success. In addition to lots of traffic at the stand and successful sales talks, the feedback of the congress visitors was consistently positive. Comments such as “That is a super idea” or “Looks like I can celebrate Valentine’s Day after all” were a clear signal to us for success.
